As the new faculty member at the Center of Disaster Research and Education, I wanted to have a simple way to update students, and the outside world on the activities of the CDRE and our Masters of Science in Emergency Management program, MSEM.

I will give updates at least on a weekly basis that will include events hosted by and/or attended by our staff and students, events that are emergency management related, links to stories and good EM sites and probably even a few “good books to read” suggestions.

As we go along and I start this blog, we will see how it grows and I will take comments and suggestions at my email: dhagelgans@millersville.edu.
